E as novidades sobre o Oscar 2018 não param! De acordo com a Academia, 70 canções originais se classificaram para a 90ª edição da premiação.

Para a escolha das indicadas, todos os votantes do ramo de música receberão a lista das classificadas e uma compilação de clipes. Será solicitado que eles assistam aos vídeos na ordem que preferirem e votem em até cinco de seus favoritos. As cinco músicas mais votadas serão indicadas, com o limite máximo de duas canções por filme.

Para ser elegível, a melodia e a letra precisam ser originais e compostas exclusivamente para o filme. Além disso, ela deve estar presente de forma substanciosa durante o filme ou durante os créditos finais.

A lista final de indicações será divulgada em 23 de janeiro de 2018. Já a cerimônia do Oscar acontecerá em 04 de março.
